There’s a shortage of vaccines!?

I went in for my last Rabies shot- yea it wasn’t a very pleasant experience.

I was told l can’t get yellow fever or Japanese encephalitis because theres a shortage- but apparently l can go to the local drug store for them-

What l want to know is how can a small chain of drug stores have a stock pile of vaccines yet a major hospital is out- l wonder if the insurance companies have anything to do with this..

And I was told I was lucky to get the rabies and meningitis cuz they are going to be out soon-

I asked the nurse if they get a certain number of vaccines each year and if they have to determine who gets it.- she told me they buy them as needed- yea l was thinking the same thing why cant you buy more- l mean if the local drug store has a surplus buy it off them.

I don’t get corporate bureaucracy-

So now l have to go to a few different places to get all my shots. Not that l mind but it would be nice to get it all done in one place.
